Parent Work Time Guidelines

The Parent Work Time (PWT) program offers parents/caregivers the opportunity to work or study while their children play under the supervision of our care providers downstairs. This program offers supervised care for children 8 months to 7 years old.

PWT is available on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 9-12.

The Treehouse is not a childcare center, so parents must remain on the premises. In case of an emergency requiring you to leave the building, please designate another parent to look after your children during your absence.

Please send a text message (970-749-3323)or email (bayfieldtreehouse@gmail.com )to Ms. Nicole in the event you need to cancel. If you inform us in advance, we can provide a credit, which will help us adjust the number of providers. Communication is key!!

Parents, please keep in mind:

  • Reserve supervised care spots before 7 pm the night before.

  • The fee is $8.00 for the first child, with the second and third children at half price.

  • Utilize desk space downstairs while transitioning away from your child.

  • Enjoy water, coffee, tea, fridge, and microwave facilities.

  • A printer is available; kindly contribute to the donation box if you use it frequently.

  • Remember to pack snacks, lunch, and a water bottle for your child.

  • Ensure all dishes and bottles are labeled with your child's name.

  • Apply sunscreen to your children and follow the instructions on the bottle. The Treehouse has provided sunscreen for parent use.

  • Prepare to accompany your child to the bathroom or handle diaper changes. Our team will assist in bringing your child to you.

  • Get ready for outdoor activities if the weather allows. Dress your child accordingly.

  • Inform our staff if your child is having a tough day so we can offer extra care.

  • Kindly avoid leaving before 9 am as our providers are preparing the Treehouse and will not be available to assist until then.

  • Gather downstairs at noon promptly.

  • In the event of a safety concern, we reserve the right to cancel supervised care services.

  • Regrettably, if your child requires a personal aide (PARA) at school, we are unable to accommodate one-on-one care at this time.

  • Kindly reach out to Ms. Nicole to discuss any concerns or suggestions that can help ensure the success of this PWT.
